General Volunteers
General volunteers help with anything that needs to be done during the convention. You will be responsible for making sure rooms are secure, the convention area is clean, delivering messages between different organizers in the convention hall, setting up tables and chairs for different areas and have a polite and positive attitude during the convention. We require all of our general volunteers to be at least 16 years of age. General volunteers work in 4 hour shifts and must work a minimum of 12 hours or 3 shifts over 3 days. General volunteers get a general weekend pass to the convention for free but must purchase a red t-shirt for $10. The red shirt will let convention attendees know who they can ask for general help. We expect all general volunteers to be on their best behavior for the entire convention and bring a can do spirit.

Game Master Volunteers
GM volunteers run a specific game during a 4 hour block. They are required to run a game for 3 blocks for a total of 12 hours. The game should be engaging, easy to learn and above all fun to play. All games should fit these three criteria. We want games to be engaging so the players feel like they are transported to another place and the 2 hours flies by. We want games to be easy to learn so new players who have never played this specific game can play within 15 minutes. Almost every game can be easy to learn but requires preparation by the GM like making pre-made characters, learning all the rules of the game, making rules cheat sheets and easy to understand instructions.
The most important criteria is making the game fun to play. We want to make sure everyone at the convention has a great time so all of our games should be a ton of fun to play. You, as the game master, can determine how much fun our convention attendees have by making an inviting environment, easy directions and rules and engaging people during the game.
We are always looking for new games to run during the convention. We will provide you with the tables, chairs, and, most important, people to play your game. We request your game be able to accommodate between 4 to 6 players per game. If you want to make room for one more, that is your decision as the GM but we feel that 4 to 6 players is optimum for a great social game where everyone has fun.
